Dr. Gary Hall

Dr. Gary Hall received his undergraduate degree from the University of Michigan and received his dental degree from the University of Detroit's School of Dentistry. He founded Plymouth Dental Associates in 1963 while he was practicing at the Rehabilitation Center of Detroit developing dental procedures for physically handicapped patients. In 1967, he founded the United States Dental Institute and remains its president. Dr. Hall also functions as President of Barton Matthew Inc., an FDA certified manufacturer of dental equipment. Dr. Hall's area of interest is cranial development in growing children. His hobbies are skiing and offshore multihull sailboat racing.


Dr. Steven Olds

Dr. Steven Olds was born and raised in the Metro Detroit area. He attended the University of Michigan, and received his dental degree from the University of Detroit Mercy. Dr. Olds is a member of the Michigan Dental Association, the American Dental Association, and the Oakland County Dental Society. Dr. Olds is married and has a son and daughter. In his free time, he enjoys traveling up north, sports, and spending time with his family.


Dr. Edward Van Esley

Dr. Ed Van Esley was born and raised in the Detroit metropolitan area.  He attended Wayne State University for his undergraduate studies in biology.  He recieved his Doctorate of Dental Surgery from the University of Detroit Mercy. Prior to joining Plymouth Dental Associates, he practiced for ten years in Canton, MI. He is a member of the American Dental Association, Michigan Dental Association, Detroit District Dental Society and Academy of General Dentistry. He has continued his education post dental school with the United States Dental Institute in the field of orthodontics.  Dr. Van Esley enjoys the outdoors; spending his off time fishing, hiking and camping.  He is also an avid sports enthusiast who has played and coached football for twenty plus years.


Dr. Margaret Stanhouse

Dr. Margaret Stanhouse is a Michigan native.  She was a dental assistant for 20 years prior to receiving her dental degree from The University of Detroit Mercy.  Dr. Stanhouse is a member of the Michigan Dental Association, American Dental Association and the Detroit District Dental Society.  Dr. Stanhouse is married and enjoys golfing in her free time.


Dr. Paul Ho

Dr. Paul Ho earned his chemistry degree in Toronto, Canada where he grew up. After completing dental school and an Oral Surgery Residency at Case Western Reserve, Cleveland, Ohio, Dr. Ho completed a General Practice Residency at Metro Health Center in Cleveland. In 1998, Dr. Ho was certified in Maxillofacial Surgery. He entered into private practice and became a Diplomate of the American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons in 2000 and recertified in 2008. He enjoys traveling with his two daughters and home renovation projects.


Dr. Elizabeth A. Nesmith

Dr. Elizabeth Nesmith was born and raised in northern Michigan. She attended University of Michigan for her undergraduate studies (Go Blue!) and then moved to Arizona, where she received a Masters degree in Biomedical Sciences and her Doctor of Dental Medicine degree from Midwestern University. Afterward, Dr. Nesmith completed her specialty training and a Masters of Science in Periodontics at The Ohio State University. She is a member of the American Dental Association, American Academy of Periodontics, and American Association for Women Dentists. Outside of the office, Dr. Nesmith enjoys traveling, gardening, and spending time up north with her husband and two young sons.
