What To Expect
Your first appointment will start with an initial oral examination that includes a visual examination, charting, periodontal probing, oral cancer exam, diagnosis and treatment recommendations. We may also take x-rays, which can include a full mouth series, check-up bitewings or a panoramic x-ray depending on specific need. We use these x-rays for proper diagnosis of the anterior (front) and posterior (back) teeth as well as for proper diagnosis of proximal decay of posterior teeth.
